Best Buy told me it is in the form of a Best Buy gift card. It can be used to pay down the price of your phone, buy accessories or for any other BB purchase.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, this is exactly what we did. To get the best deal, we showed up with our own Best Buy giftcards, as well as did the trade in on our old phone, which Best Buy gave us the trade in value on a Best Buy giftcard. Then we submitted these giftcards as part of our payment on the phone. We actually paid all but 24$ on the phone, so that our monthly payments would only be a 1$ a month from Verizon. We had to agree to the monthly plan to get the "trade-in" deal that Best Buy was offering. We were fully prepared to pay the entire amount on the spot, but Best Buy wouldn't give us the trade in value unless we agreed to the monthly plan. So what ever you put down at the time of purchase will then factor in to how much your monthly payment actually ends up being. In our case it was only a 1$ a month for 24 months. Verizon also let us pay off our entire balance after the first bill arrived, so at that point our 2 -year payment cycle was done. We win. :)
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, the trade in value of your old device can be applied towards the remaining balance of the phone which would lower your monthly payments.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, they gave me $300 for the trade-in of my s8+, which I immediately applied to the initial purchase price, bringing the monthly payment down over $10
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes it does. It's great because you won't get penalized for paying off early. My monthly payment after trading in my note 8 is $16.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I spoke to an employee in-person and yes, it should go toward the monthly payment.
