I'm an AT&T user and they have a couple apps that help you with contact, messaging, and information transfer from an old phone to a new phone. It could already be downloaded to your phone. AT&T's app is called "AT&T Mobile Transfer". Or you can go to the app store and download the app "Setup and Transfer". Make sure you have the old phone powered on and close to the new phone for the process. Follow the steps; it may take a several minutes depending on the amount of information transferred.
