• Hello DoubleJ, that's a really good question! All S10's come with a pre-installed plastic screen protector already installed. The free screen protector is designed to work with all the features of the phone, including the in-display fingerprint reader. If another screen protector is installed on top of the pre-installed screen protector it will cause issues with the fingerprint sensor, and with touchscreen recognition. ^Elizabeth

• I usually just get a case for the edges and back. However, someone I know dropped his phone and it the front of the screen enough where it cracked. For scratches you may not need a screen protector, but for drops it *might* help.

• I think it is kind of up to you. I have a Note 8 and am brutal with phones and have had zero issues. Wife has this phone and it gets tossed around quite a bit with no issues.
