Yes you will need an unlocked version. And try looking for this specific sim card. SIMGLW416TQ. it's the only that seems to be working for this phone.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.If you want to use the s10 on boost mobile you'd have to buy an unlocked version. To activate it you can go to a local sprint store and ask them to look up your phone info so that they could give you the compatible sim card for boost since boostmobile themselves don't have the sim cards yet but still support the s10. I just went through this process a few days ago myself and I was able to activate my phone no problem. Good luck
