“I use MetroPCS so I was wondering is it possible to unlock the phone today through Sprint but then switch the service to MetroPCS?”

It would be possible, sometimes carriers are very reluctant to unlock them though. Mine is unlocked and works fine on metro.

I have a question instead of an answer. So, if I have Metro PCS as my Carrier, I would have to switch to another Carrier like Sprint in order to have the phone unlocked then switch back to Metro PCS?
