• It stands for Fan Edition. It's the S21 with fixes for known problems. So basically an upgrade.

• "FE" stands for "fan edition" it refers to the camera that is used for taking selfies as it is supposedly one of the best in the business. My daughter has this phone and loves it, and for what its worth it does take nice selfies.

• Not metal as the base of the phone...not only is it lighter it also makes the phone less expensive.

• It means "Fan Edition." I bought two, one for my wife and one for myself. Nothing sticks out as fan edition to me. Great camera, great battery life. Slightly different size than other S21 phones. I'd buy them again.
