• Yes, when you lift the front panel the phone wakes up. open the phone. When you close the front panel, the phone shows the date and time in the cutout area.

• Yes. When you open the cover it opens up to Lock Screen. You can program to unlock the phone too when opening. I prefer to enter the password as my first was stolen.

• Yes, you can even turn this feature on and off to your liking as well. There's a bunch of special settings that you can access once the phone recognizes that it's in the S-View case.
