“My carrier is Xfinitymobile. A store clerk there told me that "unlocked" phones aren't really unlocked for 60 days, and that you have to use one of your carriers for 60 days before moving to Xfinity. That doesn't sound like it is correct?”

The unlocked phones from best buy are completely unlocked and dont have the carrier 60 waiting period because they have no carrier

The advertised unlocked Galaxy S24 Ultra is not tied to any carriers, nor has it been, as it is being sold as new. Perhaps, the clerk that you spoke with should have specified that devices that are purchased directly through carriers may not be truly "unlocked" for up to 60 days. You are able to purchase unlocked devices from other retailers, like BestBuy, that are truly unlocked. Hopefully that helps clear up any confusion. Please try again later.Go to your nearest store, choose the cell phone of your choice unlocked and choose the option to activate later , so you will only be given the cell phone in its sealed box, when you get home install your operator's SIM card and you're done, buy the unlocked mine and it works with t mobil and a foreign SIM card.
