One possible issue, if you are currently making payments on a phone as part of a plan or contract youre on. Not sure if theyd let you continue to make payments or make you pay the remaining balance in full. Other than that, shouldnt be an issue. This phone supports physical sim cards and so does verizon, so in that sense, activation shouldnt be an issue. Sim cards (i think) are around $30 if you dont already have one. Verizon may charge an activation fee.
