No, but there is an application in the Google Play store called, Smart Wifi. It will switch on your wifi signal when it determines that you are connected to a specific cell tower (at home) and then automatically turn on your wifi. This approach is better since it uses less battery power to monitor your location based upon cell towers vs using the GPS.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes. As long as you leave the wifi turned on and it is an access point you have all ready connected to before. There is also a setting where the phone will only run updates when connected to wifi so your usage won't run up.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, it can if you have it set up to do so...
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, this is available in settings under connections, tap on the word wifi and you'll be presented with all the options for your wifi you can set it to connect to known networks, and even to tell you when available networks are around or you can just turn it off. Hope this helps:)
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. There is an option to autoconnect to WiFi when in range. I personally set mine to connect to home WiFi automatically, but no others. Also can be set to only do updates over WiFi, as well as switch to available WiFi when using high data apps.
