• I actually asked for the silver when I bought my phone, and they said they don't carry silver for Verizon, and so I got the gold. However, in certain lights, it actually looks like silver. I'm actually glad I got this color.

• Don't think there was a platinum silver. I was told that this is why is called platinum gold because it sometimes looks and sometimes silver.
