Is this a used or unlocked phone? null

New. I am told by Verizon that all their more recent phones are unlocked, however if you want another carrier certain adjustments must be made on the phone to make it compatible with that carrier. I find it interesting that this phone says "Samsung" on the back and not "Verizon."
