“isn't there a potential battery problem with this phone----I thought there was a mfgr. recall”

• Greetings, Eddieg. Thank you for reaching out with your concern. The device that had a manufacture recall was the Galaxy Note 7, not the S7. As such this device is just fine with none of the battery problems that persisted in the Note 7. I hope this helps with your question. ^Viv
