• You can turn off mobile data but if you don't connect to a wifi network it's just a paperweight. You can turn it off by pulling down on the notification screen should open up and you should find a button that says mobile data, click it you'll turn off your data.

• can you please specify why do you need to turn it off. You want to switch to lower speed like 3g or something else?

• 1.From home screen tap Apps 2.Scroll to and tap Settings. 3. Scroll to and tap Mobile networks. 4.Tap Network mode. Tap CDMA to disable 4G LTE,3G access only. Tap LTE/CDMA or Automatic to enable 4G LTE when available.
