• Galaxy s7 and the S7edge are unlocked devices they lock to the sim card that is placed in it already once it's turned on. CDMA phones aka Verizon can be used on Straight talk and Page Plus as well as Verizon prepaid. At&T ones can be used with Net10. I hope this answers your questions. (BB employee.)

• No, it will still be locked to Verizon. You need one marked as unlocked such as the Samsung - Galaxy S7 edge 32GB (Unlocked) - Gold Platinum.

• Yes you can. Verizon is one of only 2 carriers that all you have to do is replace the SIM chip. The other carriers it is their phone.

• No. The device will need to be unlocked in order to go to another carrier. Also depends on which carrier you want to go to as some will have a GSM netword vs CDMA. Definitely find this information out prior to making your purchase.
