You will pay almost 200 dollars outright and still pay a monthly bill of 30 dollars. If you pay monthly it's like adding just 3 dollars more of your monthly bill. If you multiply that by 24 which is 2 years contract you will just have paid your phone a total of 72 dollars.

For example 50 dollars for a phone, the S7 edge, and then your locked in for 2 years but there is no lease fee and you can keep your phone when your contact is over.
