A:AnswerThis phone is not a part of the Samsung thermal event issues as another phone provider (Apple) describes it in their fancy way. The model with the issue was the Note 7 that has since stopped all production and been recalled; there are a good number still around though...adventure seekers.
A:AnswerI received an update in the States, while it had a T-Mobile SIM in it; when I left the country, I turn off updating, conscious of update issues; when I return, I will turn on again; I can also check for updates manually; one big plus; updates come directly from SAMSUNG; none of this carrier garbage.
