Last time I tried, I had to call them and very specifically ask for the 2 year contract renewal deal. That being said...I think they are just switching over because it means they don't have to price the service (phone, data, etc.) and the phone into one price. They get to charge everyone specifically for what they are using (different amounts for the phone and different plans for the data).

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.When I signed up for Sprint as a new customer on Black Friday I was offered the 2yr contract.. In fact they said the contract was required to get the sale. So it is offered.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Sprint offers the 2 yr contract with the phone upgrade for $199 ONLY online. Basically because Verizon and AT&T stopped doing the contracts, Sprint stopped offering it as well. It is still not offered in stores and Best Buy, but they did reinstate the offer online. I'm guessing that would be the case only for existing customers of Sprint.
