• I couldn't until September but they just made it happen in store thanks to Best buy crew

• I upgraded early, but to do it I went to an actual Sprint corporate store first. You may be able to pay off your contract like I did without making the special trip to their store, but when I tried to do it online they failed miserably. Once you've paid off your contract then you can upgrade. or else buy an unlocked phone and avoid the hassles.
