You can upgrade to the S8. That's what I did. Kept my same verizon plan too.

No. This offer is for existing customers as well.

I just upgraded as an existing Verizon customer and it did not change my plan or plan cost. There was a one time $30 activation/equipment upgrade fee per phone and the additional $17.50 per month for 24 months phone cost. I was eligible for a phone upgrade at the time. Hope this hepls
