Yes. In fact if you take it to a corporate Verizon store they have to help you activate it for free. And you don't get all the added Verizon "Blow-ware" when you get the phone from Best Buy.

YES, THIS PHONE WORKS WITH VERIZON. NO PROBLEM. SALES ASSOCIATE SET EVERYTHING UP FOR US (MY WIFE & MYSELF), DIDN'T HAVE TO LIFT A FINGER OTHER THAN TO INPUT OUR VERIZON PIN NUMBER SO HE COULD ADD OUR NEW PHONES TO OUR VERIZON ACCOUNT.
