Questionwhen can i pre-order unlocked s8+, what is the earliest date i can get it on. i heard pre order starts on 9th, but when can i get it in my hand (delivery or store pick up anything is fine with me) i want to get it as soon as possible.

QuestionWhat is difference between a locked vs. unlocked phone besides 1) slow updates which I really don't care about and 2) preloaded Verizon apps which I hate, never use and can never remove? My concern is around wifi calling and texting. Can that be done?

- Answer This is my first unlocked phone. So far I have not noticed anything I cannot do with this phone after about 1 month. It does not come with any Verizon apps, you can install it if you like. But i do not miss any of them so far.

- Answer be very careful.....I bought a Samsung Unlocked phone, model 930U, and it will not work on AT&T for call forwarding and wifi calling. I have been told by AT&T and Samsung, that I needed a model 930A for these feature to work......Have spent uncountable hours trying to make this work, to no avail. DO NOT COUNT ON A "u" PHONE TO HAVE FEATURES ON A SPECIFIC NETWORK.

- Answer Hello (Unlocked phones) It means if your carrier exists at the store they will activate..if not you need to contact your carrier and get instructions However my phone got activated automatically once I placed my chip and turned it on. Hope this is helpful
