• I'm an Consumer Cellular subscriber and set the phone myself and the transition from my previous phone, Galaxy S5, was simple. I transferred my provider card & SD card to the appropriate slots which recognized both immediately, required no interaction with Consumer Cellular at all. Samsung uses a smart switch app that transfers your info to your S8 simply without any knowledge required on your part.
