You have 2 options. Option #1: Buy the unlocked version, and continue to use your current phone. Downfall is that you’d have to pay ful price for the phone. Option #2: Buy the phone through your plan and receive the discounted price. Downfall is that your current phone will no longer be able to be used, since the new phone will have to be activated.
