Yes. Called a OTG cable. We have them for 19.99 at the store. Works great.

I bought an adapter that plugs into the tablet charge port and has regular usb on the other end. This allows me to transfer information to and from a standard usb. There is also an hdmi type adapter for the same purpose. It will allow connection to a TV if you want.

Yes it does have a way to connect through the charge portal .The charge cord that came with it will be useful, and any other cord that fits the port with a usb on the other end will work.
