If you mean physical access to the microSD slot, that's easy on this tablet. In terms of actually using the card, it allows as much as Android 6.0 does - meaning that many apps can be moved to the card, and that it works great for media storage (the camera will switch to saving on the external card when it's present); but many of the Samsung and Google apps (and some others - no clue why something like OpenTable won't let you move it) can't be moved to the external card. My 200 GB card has generally worked great so far.
