You can't transfer the OS to the card. I am not sure which tablet can do that. However, you can store photos, videos, music and apps on an external card.

Please try again later.Some of the earlier samsung tablets, u could transfur the os to run off a sd card, it was a way to make it go from 16/32gb system to 156/256 gb system. It was slower but you could add more such as run kindle off it and have all that extra space for books. But thanks for answer
