• Yes this has larger text and a bigger easier to use keyboard. I have problems with my fat fingers, with small keyboards. This one suits me fine.

• I have my tablet set to a bigger screen size so its easier to read and it still has space for more characters.

• The fonts are larger, the Tab A 9.7 and the Tab A 8 have the same base resolution so. the screen size is larger, the resolution is not.

• You can change the font size in the settings. Most apps will be affected by the change. Generally you'll see more text on the screen if you can't change the size of the font
