• Yes skype is perfect for this tablet. The connection depends on the service provider you have though.

• Make sure you are completely up to date with your tablet updates. Do a force check to make sure you are running the latest version. I had the same issue till i did a final update and then restarted tablet and everything that was being troublesome went away
