Yes if you're car has WiFi than the tablet will connect to it. It does not have 4g internet so if you don't have an internet plan for your car that isn't an option . You could also use a hot spot on your phone or a mobile hot spot device something you may want to contact your mobile service provider about. Another thing to note is that with the YouTube premium you can download videos to watch offline.

Pre-covid was used as much on the road as at home primarily for watching YouTube. Definitely worth the buy, an excellent tab.
