• we bought wifi only. so there is no data plan. and thus we need wifi in order to get to the internet

• Mine is wifi-only. I am uncertain if they have one that runs through a cellular company. No problem though if you download the FoxFi app on your phone for free as you can connect to your cell phone from this tablet with ease. I love this tablet.
