• That is NOT correct. The S2 8 has a USB3 mini which doubles as its charge port. Generally the battery has an all day life so you can use the port for other connections without much worry.

• No it doesn't have a full size (Host usb port). However, the usb device is capable of USB OTG. With a usb OTB cable you can convert the micro usb to full size usb, or peripheral to Host.
