“I was told at the store that this could be hooked up to cellular so I could have a phone number on it. Is that true? I do not see it anywhere in the description.”

• You need to buy a model that is LTE Capable, buying one without a Sim Card adapter will only be usable via Wifi....though you could bluetooth connect it to your phone.
