It works with mostly all phones, even apple, although it has to be able to do two things; needs to have the latest operating system and needs to be able to handle the latest software. Most older phones tend to stop getting updates which makes the updated apps unresponsive or buggy. In short, your phone just needs have the latest operating system for the watch to work on your phone. 

It still can work with your phone, but it could give you trouble to function properly.

Check your phone's operating system. This device compatibility is based off phone/ operating system not your carrier. Works great on Samsung s9, s8, s8+ are the phones I've used it successfully on.
