• A:Answer Yes. You can view and reply to messages on it. You can view calls when they come in and you can answer or decline them. However, you cannot talk on your watch like the iOS watch.

Q: QuestionAre you able to download additional apps to this phone, eg the Runkeeper App? Are you able to use this watch away from your phone--can you still receive notifications? I am debating between this and the other Galaxy Watch but not seeing major differences.

• A:Answer Don't know about Run Keeper, but Strava is available. This phone uses Bluetooth, so your phone has to be close by to connect for notifications to work, but you can load music on it and listen to that while you work out via Bluetooth headphones without having your phone.
