• Very far. It seems to work like an independent extension of the synced phone.

• Connects by bluetooth, normally the range is 30 meters or so. Bad thing is depending on the line of sight. Depending on the material, sometimes it could pass through easier or block it. So take it with a grain of salt. Going to have to test the distance. Think of it like wifi, depending on areas could be good or bad. It will not communicate if you leave your phone and go for a run a mile away.
