“Will it give any alert on the watch if you get too far away from the phone. My samsung gear notifies me when I disconnect from the phone when I get to far away. Great reminder to not leave my phone somewhere. Wife wants same function.”

Yes it does notify you when it gets seperated.

Please try again later.it just shows an icon on the top of the face. took me a couple of time before I made out that its a icon of a watch, And that you are disconnected from the phone. Sometime just being in the living room and the phone in the bedroom 20 feet away is enough to disconnect.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes it does you will feel the watch vibrate when you get to far away from your phone. I'm sure their are different settings to maybe a sound rather than a vibrate but it does let you know
