There are 2 versions of this phone. One just with Bluetooth for $329.00 and one with cellular for $379.00...You have to know which one you want when you buy it. the lesser expensive one has blue tooth only. This means that you must have your cell phone nearby for the watch to accept calls and texts, etc. This model will never be able to be cellular on it's own. So you have to make up your mind if you want blue tooth or cellular upon purchasing. The $379.00 model must be purchased along with a cellular plan from Verizon, T Mobile, etc. The price per month will be depended upon purchase. It will have its own phone number and will be independent from your existing device. It will be just like a cell phone on your wrist. Unfortunately the discounted carriers like Straight Talk, etc. do not have the capability to host the watch. You must do a plan from a regular carrier, eg. Verizon, etc. So decide before you buy either one as to what you want out of this device. There is no turning back if you buy the lesser expensive one, as you will never make it independent of your current cellphone. I have decided to wait until the discounted carriers like Straight Talk can incorporate it into their monthly cards that we buy.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.TMobile is the only carrier with support for the watch at this moment. Other carriers will follow suit like Verizon, Sprint etc. So while you will be able to activate this watch on those carriers you can't do it now
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Hi guys, unfortunately even Tech support in Samsung people do not know this answer (and many more) to this watch. Nevertheless it is my understanding that this model can run with this bands. LTE bands B2(1900), B4(AWS), B5(850), B12(700), B13(700), B17(700), B18(800), B19(800), B25(1900), B26(850), B66(AWS-3). Which means it will not work with CDMA carriers like Sprint or Verizon. Now since the watch is ready for this frequency bands, I have to guess that they expect to be unlocked with other carriers. It seems to me that the limitation is legal (what kind of deals with each carrier will they make) but not from the engineering standpoint. If I know I can use it with Bluetooth and with an e-SIM, I can wait my carrier to be available while I can still use the Bluetooth in the meantime and contact your carrier to see if the e-SIM is capable to be saved in their database. I hope this helps.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I confirmed with Verizon it is not compatible with their network. They can't even find the IMEI
