Yes it does. The watch vibrates when you leave it behind and it gives you an icon on the face that shows no phone is connected.

By enabling the "Notify when left behind" feature within Samsung Find or SmartThings Find, your watch will notify you if your phone disconnects from it. This feature is available on compatible Galaxy devices, including Galaxy Watches, Galaxy Buds, S Pen Pro, and Galaxy SmartTags.
