• Yes, you could download it from the watch's galaxy store or do it on the phone and then apply it on the watch.

• No, when you press the galaxy store on the watch it automatically goes to the Google play store. This watch uses Google wear 3.0. All future Samsung watches will be Wear 3.0 All the galaxy watch face developers are now using the Samsung Watch Face Studio to develop new Wear 3.0 watch faces which can be downloaded from the Google play store.
