Bluetooth works with your mobile phone number, LTE has a separate phone number.

You can leave your phone at home and all calls, text etc will come in through your watch. It requires an add-on wireless plan at a cost of $10.00 per month. You can sync the watch to your existing phone number to receive calls and messages without your phone. Samsung Galaxy Watch4 BT connects to your phone by Bluetooth connection. You must be in range of your phone's Bluetooth connection to receive calls and messages on the watch.
