If you chose the 2 year LTE plan? How does that connect to your plan if left behind? Do it have a different number?

Yes, the Galaxy Watch8 allows for calls and texts, but how it works depends on whether you choose the Bluetooth or LTE model. On the Bluetooth versions for instance, your watch must be connected to your Android smartphone via Bluetooth (or connected to the same Wi-Fi network with Remote Connection enabled) to make/receive calls and texts using your phone number. When it comes to our LTE versions, you can step out without your phone and still make calls, send texts, and use data using Number Share via carriers. Hope that helps!
