Try the other pieces in the box and they are not loud enough. Jaybirds r better but u will lose all the features that samsung has

You have to close the case completely to charge the ear buds, to make firm contact between the case and ear buds. Also, the lithium battery in the case must be charged via the USB cable and recharged after it is depleted from charging the buds multiple times. If you get the buds wet with sweat from working out, be sure to wipe the gold contacts with a soft cloth before putting them back in the case to recharge.

As far as charging, have you tried turning them in the case to make sure they are seeded well? And, I too, have trouble with them staying in my ears.
