Yes, but it's functionality is tied to your phone. To use stand alone it needs it's own data plan from your provider.

You can have the watch connected to your phone (via bluetooth) and no additional monthly charges will be added to your bill. The following is the optional part: ******* If you want to have it added on your bill for the service that they phone company offers - which is only call forwarding. Basically this means that if your not connected via bluetooth (like you left your phone somewhere or turned off bluetooth) then you will still receive phone calls and texts. You can also send texts and make calls with this feature. You phone number will just appear to be different *because the sim card will have a separate phone number*.
