• Yes, you can type with number keypad, write with your fingers, speak to text and select emojis. A qwerty keyboard is not present. You can also create templates.

• Yes, there is a 9-key entry method as well as handwriting recognition to compliment the canned responses. And of course you can always use voice to text as well.
