I have had both the Motorola 1st and 2nd generation. Neither were rated as waterproof tIP68. But both my Motorola watches batteries died and due cost and delicate build makes them pretty much non-repairable. I have had the Samsung gear since I got the first Motorola. The Samsung still works beautifully and continuses to get updates that keep making it better. You stated the motorola 360 2nd gen has a IPF 68 I find it has a IPF 67 and there is a big difference.
