• This watch is 46mm. It looks large on a man and giant on most female wrists. For a 12 year old, I would suggest the S2 or S2 Classic.

• I wouldn't get it for a 12 year old unless he is a big kid. There is a smaller version.

• Regarding what I think, you should not be buying any watch over 30 dollars for a 12-year old. That's just foolish spending.
