“Does the watch still work if the phone is left at home? I know it's a feature on the Samsung gear s3 frontier watch but wasn't sure if it is for this watch.”

Yes the watch works completely without the phone. But the phone is required to synchronize and set things up. Technically once the watch is synchronized you could never carry your phone. But you can’t make or receive calls through the watch.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.If you use a Sim card in it, you can use it as it's own line but none of them work fully if not connected to your phone through Bluetooth. The only features you lose are messaging, phone calls and emails. You can download music on to it and it still tracks all of your steps and workouts, your apps work too as long as you have wifi.. including browsing and you tube
