• No, they are refurbished by geek squad. Minor problems, for me it was a squeaky case when opening and closing

• I specifically ordered the White Buds, but to my disappointment, Best Buy gave me black ones instead. Despite my dissatisfaction with their service, I decided to keep the black pair only because returning them would have been inconvenient. Had I had the time, I would have returned the item for a full refund. However, going forward, I will no longer be dealing with Best Buy and will place my orders with a different company. To answer your question, yes, they are refurbished.
