Shouldn’t make and difference as long as you have a corner (best) or just a wall for the sub and a 10 to 12 foot ceiling for the top firing speakers on soundbar and rear speakers. System sounds great for a soundbar.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Rest assured that the system is amazing in an open living room. I have had the system for about a month now. I have no walls separating the entertainment area from other rooms on that level of the house. I also have high, vaulted ceilings. The system has been fantastic. The surround sound is so crisp that it feels like you are in the movie. I am sure that it helps that Samsung is now using Harman/Kardon speakers. I have tried DTS, DTS-X and Atmos. Obviously, Atmos sounds the best, but the others are still quite impressive. I definitely have not had any trouble getting phenomenal sound with an open floor plan.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. My living area is bigger than normal, I guess. I don't have any issues with the N950 at all. Well I do have the issue like everyone else that the back speakers are low when not using Dolby Atmos.
